Ranoush is all about getting in and out.
A few stools, metallic tables and chairs line one side, while the other is filled with juicing machines, huge turning kebab grills and piles of sticky baklava behind the counter. Pay at the till, then watch as flatbreads are filled with shawarma skewers of lamb or chicken, gherkins and tomatoes (£11.50) and served with serious speed.
Hot and cold meze is available to those opting to sit in, and there are a couple of tables at the front for watching busy Edgware Road over a fresh fruit juice until the early hours.
