A Toca is a busy hangout for the locals of Little Lisbon', and also for people who know a good thing when they eat it. The decor is modest but self-assured, a balance that reflects the quietly excellent cooking. The menu boasts an impressive array of grilled seafood: from grilled sardines to boiled octopus. Basically, if it lives underwater you can eat it here. For landlubbers there are plenty of tasty alternatives, like peppered steaks wrapped in Parma ham or marsala-laced chicken breasts stuffed with mushrooms. Whatever your choice, the generous servings should guarantee happy bellies all around. It's also worth saving room for dessert: the honey and almond ice-cream comes in a cute little pot and is a fine way to polish off dinner.

This place is just fantastic. I often go to A Toca to appreciate nice portuguese fish or red meat - after a generous starter with delicious olives and bread. I highly recommend the 'Espetada de bife' if you like succulent meat in barbecue style (served in a stick). For a perfect ending why not ask for a Cafe Tia Maria? This place is all about amazing food&wine in an authentic community-feel atmosphere, for great value.
My wife and I have visited this Restaurant a few times, the people are friendly and the food and value are always excellent. I just wish we lived a bit nearer. Ken Dartford, Kent
This is the best Restaurant in London with no questioned asked, the food is surperb and the staff are fantastic, my wife brought me here when I turned up to the UK 3 years ago and have not found a better place to eat for price and for quality. If you love Steak look no further than the T-Bone (£11.50), it will fill you up and tastes better than anything I have had in London to date, two thumbs up!!!
