A Toca
A Toca is a busy hangout for the locals of ‘Little Lisbon', and also for people who know a good thing when they eat it. The decor is modest but self-assured, a balance that reflects the quietly excellent cooking. The menu boasts an impressive array of grilled seafood: from grilled sardines to boiled octopus. Basically, if it lives underwater you can eat it here. For landlubbers there are plenty of tasty alternatives, like peppered steaks wrapped in Parma ham or marsala-laced chicken breasts stuffed with mushrooms. Whatever your choice, the generous servings should guarantee happy bellies all around. It's also worth saving room for dessert: the honey and almond ice-cream comes in a cute little pot and is a fine way to polish off dinner.
