One of the best eating experiences we've ever had! Went here with a group of about 20, for my 25th birthday celebrations on a VERY busy Saturday night. Staff were very helpful both before the booking and even though we were late, they were very accomodating and looked after us wonderfully. The food was excellent and timely, with a rather magical ambience to the venue. Definitely recommended for a group celebration or even a romantic night out as it was beautiful. Thanks to all who work there!
Not good. Offhand service in an empty restaurant. Medium rare burgers took 25inutes to come. Waitress said they take time but the next customers took 10 minutes. And then one of the orders was wrong... Service poor, food average. Avoid.
Went in a party of six, and left a bit undecided. While the food was very good, the place itself seems to give off an unlovely vibe. Decor is rather unappealing.
Service was decidedly average and lacking in friendliness, and in no way deserving of the 'discretionary' service charge - and when we declined to pay the full charge (paid half, for the kitchen staff), they seemed most put out - maybe they got complacent.
The hand-drier in the toilets was something else, though.
Won't be returning.
Hache is one of those resturants that makes you want to make it your local, with its cosy ambience, friendly waiters and comfort food it will qute frankly be hard to stay away
I first went for lunch at Camden Hache's 3 years ago with some work collegues and was very impressed with the great burgers, friendly staff, easy atmosphere. The staff were efficient . Recently while meeting some Spanish friends near Chelsea I decided to try out the new branch in the Fulham Road. It was an equal delight. The more spacial layout of the restaurant, (compared to Camden) made it easy to get my Barcelona group seated over a saturday lunch time. The Steak Catalanas went down a treat and the quality of the food had in no way detriorated in the move South of the river. I'll be back soon i'm sure
I was taken Hache for dinner this evening by my partner. At first I thought a burger restaurant? But when I got there I was pleasantly surprised. It had a lovely cosy feel with quirky deco and a great atmosphere. The burger itself not only looked good, it tasted fantastic! The onion rings and potato wedges are also winners. I would definitely be making another visit to Hache soon!
It's some time since I ate at Hache as I've been working abroad, so I went there this week with a biz colleague. The place was jammed for a Tuesday night. What surprised me was the number of rather glam foreigners, including an American couple who we got chatting to.
Turned out they were local but the guy, a self-confessed burgerholic was ecstatic about Hache, saying they served the best burgers he's had anywhere. It was good to be back and see they'd kept up the quality.
I hear they've opened a new place in Fulham Road, but that's a bit of a schlepp.
Might try it sometime though, just to compare.
I went to Hache in Camden. Honestly? The place is a disgrace. £30 for a meal for two, horrible service, I had to sit at a ridiculously small table.
You can't pick the table, you wish to sit at, but there is no one to escort you to a table. When I entered, there was an empty table for two, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to sit there as there were fries and pieces of salad on the floor.
The burger was very good, but the bun was way too dry.
Not sure I ever want to go back.
