A charming basement bolthole full of characterful nooks and crannies, The Tapster, (a word for tavern keeper) is a short stroll from St. James's Park tube. Two cosy private rooms (for two) look onto the bar and dining area which can also be cordoned off for private parties. There's a Spanish influence on the menu here...a charcuterie board of hand carved Iberico ham, cured loin, salchichon and chorizo with crusty bread, for example, alongside some of our popular, more British staples.
