Both the food and drink at this soulful Camden venue are influenced by America's South, and the live music follows suit. Expect, then, a fair bit of jazz, soul and blues providing the soundtrack to the bites and booze.
The food menu could hardly be more Deep South. Dishes range from pulled pork with grit cakes, BBQ shrimps with biscuits and Louisiana crab cakes to crawfish and catfish gumbo, shrimp and chicken jambalaya, buttermilk fried chicken and blackened catfish with garlic prawns and a creole salad. Ribs, wings, steaks and burgers round things off.
Keep an eye out for the 'blues brunch', with traditional Souther brunches served to live blues and jazz.
Expect melt-in-your-mouth ribs, seriously good burgers and a true taste of creole cooking with our famous jambalaya and gumbo, served seven days a week.
Our cocktail list takes influence from the flavours of the Deep South, with our signature bacon and maple syrup old fashioned alongside almost 40 more cocktails on the list, and a range of craft beers too to keep you drinking well into the night whilst you chow down on some soul food of the highest order.
Weekends is when it really gets going with outdoor barbecues and a brunch to die for, compete with bloody marys and the full works of American staples – expect chicken and waffles, proper biscuits and all types of meat!
Live music takes place from Thursday onwards, to add some extra soul to your dining experience, with fresh and local bands playing everything from cajun swing to jazz and blues.
