The Greedy Buddha restaurant in London’s Fulham neighbourhood is a rare purveyor of real Nepalese food. The setting is no yurt it’s a sleek, smart, contemporary corner restaurant in natural shades of curry powder, cream and persimmon with wooden flooring and tables with leather banquettes and lozenge shaped modern lighting dangling over head. The downstairs bar is a chillout zone you won’t want to leave. All dishes are freshly prepared from scratch using the freshest ingredients possible with no artificial colourings and authentic, too, as all the chefs are Nepalese. Live music of a cool jazz blues variety happens ever other Thursday evening. The owner, Ram, does everything possible to make your Greedy Buddha experience sublime.
