the worst food I've ever eaten. Service was appalling- after 20 minutes we ad to go up to the bar to place our order, having waited for almost an hour we then had to send the food back, it finally arrived and was tasteless. no one came to give us the bill so we had to go up and pay and we asked to speak to the manager to give customer feedback. All we got was abuse, yes, the manager arguing with is - can you believe it - never ever got there

Me and my wife can't recommend this place more highly, fabulous atmosphere and great food to match the choice selection of wines and beers. Get yourself down to SW6 and try it for yourself.
The first time we visited the Hurlingham it was a wednesday afternoon and we were only going in for lunch. The staff told us about the wednesday wine club offer and that was the start of a very messy night. The house wine was half-price, the food was great and the atmosphere was so welcoming we went back and enjoyed a few more bottles that night. all the staff seemed knowledgable about the menu and events and were friendly and attentive. We didnt expect our civilised lunch to end up with us dancing on the bar at midnight- ooops! Garden is gorgeous, has recently been done up, as has the interior of the pub- but we were delighted to find it had kept its charming, quirky feel. A friend has been back since (I moved companies recently and sadly am not so close anymore- but will be back!!) to do the pub quiz, which he said was hard but fun (he didnt win!) foodwise we had the Chimichangas (amazing), the Hurley burger (massive and yummy) and the 3 for £10.95 platter with chicken wings, grilled chorizo and tempura prawns. Loved the pub so much I'm pushing for our Christmas drinks there!!
