Love this place, one of my favourite gastropubs around town, even if the ale selection is lacking. Went for dinner here with my wife last week and it was great. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic and all very reasonably priced, in a lovely environment. The staff are really friendly (almost entirely Kiwi by the sounds of it?!) - we accidentally stayed beyond closing time and they still didn't shoo us out in a hurry. It's also got a lovely beer garden out back during the summer. Great little pub, London needs more like this.

The Stonhouse, a chic and vibrant gastro pub in London’s Clapham Common, attracts a mix of suited city brokers, media darlings and local Claphamites. Known for its famous steaks, the New York City-style restaurant is decked out with wooden floors, industrial exposed beams, designer wallpaper and leather banquettes. Favourite dishes include the premium Chateaubriand and the Onglet steak, a rustic French cut of beef. Veggies are also well-catered for, with seasonally changing fare and weekly specials. The Stonhouse’s all-weather beer garden, equipped with jumbo umbrellas and heaters, is superb all year round. With a cool cosmopolitan crowd, top food and friendly service, The Stonhouse is perfect for casual dates and catch-ups with friends.
