A country pub in the heart of London, dating back to 1856.. The Telegraph retains much of the charm of a traditional pub yet offers a very modern approach to dining. Tucked away from busy roads and prying eyes, The Telegraph is surrounded by the greenery of the Heath, providing visitors with an opportunity to really get away from it all as they relax in the stylish bar and dining room or under the vine laden pergola of the pub’s pretty garden. With the only large function room in the area, above the bar & restaurant, seating up to 90 people or 140 standing the Telegraph offers no hire charge for this decadent space. Though unpretentious, The Telegraph’s menu is nonetheless full of beautifully presented and deliciously skillfully prepared dishes. Pub classics are listed alongside modern European plates and excellent grazing boards.

Country pub in the city! A real find!! Buried deep in Putney Heath this pub has lots of outdoor seating and loads of character inside. We went on a Sunday and the roast menu looked great. But on nice days they open the BBQ, this was one of them. We opted for the bbq menu which was chicken, sausages or burgers. The sausages were more than I could eat! Everything was so tasty. Staff was helpful, the bbq is a different menu and you have to go outside to order so unless you've done it before, is confusing. I can't wait to go back!
