Everyone shopping at this pristine white marble food hall is likely to be thinner, blonder and richer than you, but pootle about the shelves long enough and you too could take on that serene glow. Daylesford confidently sets its own rules regarding healthfulness, so while you'll find macca powder on the shelves, there are also fat sausages and salamis, cakes and rustic breads. A typical summer veg display includes white and green asparagus, knobbly green tomatoes and bunches of beetroot. Much is from Daylesford's own organic estates (cheddar, soups, meat, quail eggs) but then, a lot is not, like the unusual varieties of rice, posh French and Italian cheeses and pasta and matching sauces. There are also concessions in Harvey Nichols and Selfridges.
