And we really do… salute Tina, that is. The stylish interior of this corner café - white walls decorated with Ben Murphy's wonderful electrical tape 'drawings' of trees, snogging couples and cryptic phrases - belies the genuinely friendly service. Top breakfasts and sarnies are the order of the day, accompanied by really good coffee, which is probably why all the pavement tables were taken.
The sofa had been commandeered by a young couple eager to talk coffee machines with the owners (they're opening a café nearby), and the window ledge hosted a couple of laptop junkies. We only just managed to squeeze on to the big table inside, where Marmite, jams and marmalade are on hand to slather over toast or crumpets.
Breakfast pide was a delicious toasted ham, egg, spinach and ketchup combo, and breakfast trifle consisted of healthier but equally lush layers of stewed fruit, granola and yoghurt. Sandwiches are huge, with high-quality fillings (serrano ham, sun-dried tomatoes and the like).

I live across the road. Love pretty much everything about Tina's except its popularity.
Really liked the atmosphere, the coffee was great and the goats cheese salad delicious. We had 2 lattes each with my frend so well on the way with our loyalty card too ;-)
