Fashion in Motion: Ashish
The latest subject of the V&A’s Fashion in Motion catwalk series is Dehli-born, London-based Ashish Gupta, who celebrates the 10th anniversary of his eponymous label this year. His Fashion Week shows are known for their playful spirit – think models riding skateboards or double denim embellished with Kimye and One Direction designs – and visitors can expect a selection of signature styles that span Ashish’s decade in the business. Tickets are free but unsurprisingly, booking is essential. Tickets will be available online or via the Bookings Office – call 020 7942 2820 from 9am on Monday October 12.
Wasted Chic Autumn Wardrobe Remix

Fancy dress shops
Halloween, New Year, or just popping out to one of the clubs in London, social occasions are at least twice as fun when there's fancy dress involved. Cast off your going out uniform and switch it for, say, a 1920s flapper dress. Or perhaps an Elizabethan doublet. In these top-notch fancy dress shops you can give yourself a giant wound, try on terrifying masks, and get involved in full character outfits. Choosing your ideal alter-ego will be the only dilemma... RECOMMENDED: Read our full Halloween in London guide if you're looking for a spooky outfit
