On a sunny day, there is no more enoyable market in London – barbecues, grilling everything from juicy sausages from The Giggly Pig, or coconut milk-basted Mozambican chicken from stallholder Zambeziana, will be in full swing, with much of the neighbourhood congregating on the makeshift eating areas (wooden garden furniture, lawn chairs). Refreshments range from mint tea (from Algerian sweet stall Idli) to Edgebank Organics’ superlative strawberry smoothies, to the coffee stall selling chai lattes and cappuccinos. Be it fresh fruit and vegetables, seafood, cheese, bread, juices or delicious, freshly prepared grub – Ally Pally has it all.

Time out could do with fact checking a little more thoroughly. The market alternates locations, check website for full info
A great farmers' market with a wide selection on offer but you can't beat the ridiculously good served up by rainforest creations. Healthy food has never tasted so good. Cannot recommend enough.
They have things I now can't live with such as raw organic milk, delicious Guinness cakes, sourdough bread, bokit, fried calamari, true free range eggs and chickens and the list goes on!!!
All the vendors are terrific, such good quality ingredients and it keeps getting better. Also, it's such a friendly vibe: people, kids, dogs; it brings people together which is just what a neighbourhood market should do.
A really great range of produce and providers at this market. The perfect place to pop into in preparation for Sunday lunch. Be warned though, it does occasionally move locations!
I feel lucky to have this amazing market near us to visit on Sundays. Full tasty international food and products and packed by friendly visitors, it's where you want to spend your Sunday! My husband and I normally get our lunch there and buy some fresh local produce for the week. Not to forget a couple of slices of freshly baked cakes for our afternoon tea later! And guess what, even our dog can accompany us visiting the market! Perfect
