Frankly, I found these guys to be completely unfriendly and unhelpful. I went in to buy a new pair of cleats as mine had worn down. They asked me if I needed help getting them mounted. I replied that I did, and I was willing to pay for the service. They then however told me that they didn't have time. I asked if I came back on another day would they have time and they said no, they just weren't going to do it and suggested I just do it myself. When I queried if they knew where a hardware store was in the area so I could buy the tools they said that there wasn't one. I'm now wondering why they ever asked me in the first place if I needed help. I will never go to this store again.

This is the Rolls-Royce of bike shops. Founded by a former financier, the store serves London, and true pedalling connoisseurs, with custom-built racers costing up to £13,000. Before choosing their model, cyclists undergo a two-hour fitting session, where they’re filmed riding with LED markers to assess their optimum position and fit.
