Tucked away on an East Dulwich back street for almost two decades, ChiChiRaRa has built a die-hard following of locals who pop into the small but perfectly formed shop for their vintage and second-hand fix. Owner and former Vogue designer Heather McKenzie has an eye for a beautiful piece – the shop is piled high with eyecatching, good quality items from the past century. New stock comes in regularly, and even better, it’s all very reasonably priced – with dresses and knitwear from £15, and bags and accessories from £10.

ChiChiRaRa is a one off! Amazing style and friendliness combined. You’re really going to find some amazing little treasures here, and just hidden away enough that none of your friends will find out how you keep coming up with vintage chic time and again. Just go there!
Being an interesting vintage clothing shop on a cute street would be enough to satisfy any shopper, then add the delightful personalities of Heather and Wendy and suddenly you have a new favorite place!
Chichirara is my favourite place to drop into in East Dulwich – always something new or intriguing to try on, the owner has a great eye for the best dress/top/frock/skirt/coat for the season and you find yourself gravitating towards the best buy for you. I recently found a pair of Russell and Bromley knee length boots – amazingly in my size - which I bagged for a bargain-basement price and have been wearing ever since. Visiting ChiChiRaRa is a wonderful tonic after a hard week
Heather's taste is superb, her eye is second to none when it comes to the array of vintage and vintage modern clothes she has in her shop. If you have a themed party she will take the time to advise you on how to accessorise and 'rock the look.' Saturdays you will find people of all ages skimming through the overflowing racks of beautiful pieces she has personally sourced in her travels. A keen eye for classics, a discerning eye for the cut and swing of an item, she will guide her customers to the right choice for them. She has an excellent men's section and it's worth going for the eclectic but perfectly arranged displays. It's a small shop with big personality and one of East Dulwich's best kept secrets.
This is such a wonderful little cornucopia of delights. Whenever I need some form of special 'outfit' or costume, I come here and it's like playing dress-up - prancing around in a cape or whatever, having a whale of a time with Heather :)
