I've never had a bad blow dry here but it's never a relaxing or fun experience. The Topshop one is probably the worst, however the St Paul's branch is no where near as busy and feels much more tranquil. The styles to choose from are always on trend and the stylists do always manage to give you what you want. Whichever branch you decide to go to you must book! I don't think i've ver been fortunate enough to get a walk-in appointment.

I'd say about 4/5 times that I've tried to arrange an impromptu appointment here (who pre-empts needing a blow dry after the static ordeal of trying on a hundred tops in either Topshop or Selfridges) there hasn't been any slots available, which is kind of annoying. Saying that, when I have had my hair done, the stylist is always really thorough. I guess my advice would be to beat the crowds earlier in the morning - and try to resist their sales pitches to buy all their alluring "life changing" sets.

Actually... I don't think this place is that great. Not sure I understand the hype, at all. You're rushed, you're on the shop floor whilst everyone looks at you with your wet half styled hair, it's pretty uncomfortable actually. I've tried a few other places, the blow bar in angel is really cute for example and definitely way better than Hershesons by a million miles. But my FAVOURITE place in london is The Parlour. I'm pretty sure this is the website blobarchiswick.co.uk it's so so so pretty and the staff are amazing. They give you free cocktails and cupcakes. It's just one of those places you never want to leave and always want to be at. Anyway- NO to Hereshons, YES to Blow Bar and definitely The Parlour.
