This local fave sells a well-edited range of charming yet affordable early to mid 20th-century furniture. The affable owners Barny and Becky have a passion for good design and recognised a gap in the London market for aesthetically pleasing furniture that doesn’t cost the earth. The eclectic selection normally includes classic designs, such as Ercol pieces; enamel hanging light shades, 1960s coffee tables and folding stools, original wall hooks, art deco mirrors, G-Plan sideboards, old telephones, enamel bread bins and school-style chairs also crop up regularly. All items are originals, sourced and hand-selected from the country’s auction houses and antiques warehouses. Note that the place is sometimes closed on Tuesday mornings.
