Great service and AMAZING coffees. I am a regular customer and I am always pleased with the products. I do not live near the bakery but I always come for their delicious coffee and croissants. My children love their cupcakes and cookies too. Everything is delicious!

Tucked away and hidden from most people's walking route is this adorable little bakery. The smell of the freshly baked croissants can be smelt for miles around, and sometimes I just can't resist popping in for one. My favourite is the wholemeal croissant with raspberry jam baked inside. If you get there when it opens (at 8.30am on weekdays) the jam is still super hot and runny, and eating it too quickly will almost definitely burn your mouth. But that's a small sacrifice to make for how delicious they are!

They also do a great fruit and yogurt pot, with homemade granola on top - perfect if you're on the go and need to grab something quickly. The granola is probably the best I've had, with tonnes of juicy dried fruit and nuts! My only slight gripe is the price of the cupcakes, especially if you're taking them away. Some are as much as £4 EACH. Now don't get me wrong, they are super tasty, but they're also mega bucks. Guess it does stop me from eating one every day though ;)

Cute little place in a quiet street between Camden Town and Primrose Hill that is totally worth the visit! The atmosphere is great, it feels like a baker opened the door to you at their home! The coffee is great, the cupcakes are awesome, delicious, colourful, as fresh as you can get. You might need to queue, or you can do takeaway if you wish - that's what most people do. We? We enjoyed a coffee together with great company and a variety cupcakes on a Sunday afternoon!

If you're in the area you have to go in! This bakery has been going for years, before the big resurgence of the cupcake 'trend'. I have always gone for the simpler flavours and find the cakes to be made with the lightest touch - they are simply delicious! I haven't really found a cupcake in London that I prefer to be honest. The only downside is that I don't live closer and that they don't have more shops!

Famed for their delicious cupcakes, with combinations that will leave you reciting 'Eenie, meenie, miney, mo' in your head.

The sugar sure hits the spot every time, just a shame that service isn't up to the same standard. The shop in Primrose Hill also sells quirky little gifts and cards – although there's not much room to browse on a Saturday afternoon. Or sit at that matter.

I’ve long been a fan of Primrose Bakery... often delighting friends with cupcakes from their recipe books. However, upon visiting the shop, I was slightly disappointed. The interior was pretty and kitsch but the cupcakes were slight stale and there wasn’t much atmosphere. I’d recommend you visit early on when the cakes are fresh out the oven, and take them away to enjoy.
