The Painted Lady

Tina is uh-mazing at nails, perfection personified. I go every two or three weeks to have shellac or a cheapy file and polish. Always good natter and a nice cup of tea.

My first visit was in August this year for my wedding and I've been going ever since. By far the best place to get Shellac nails. A service with a smile and awesomely painted nails that last. Tina is amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Easily the best nail salon in London - so lovely and relaxed, and the neatest work ever - Tina is amazing. So professional and thorough, never had a chip yet and even if I didn't live locally I would cross town to keep going to the painted lady, just head and shoulders better than anywhere else I've been from West London to the City.

Had my nails done here a number of times (both pedi and mani) and loved it every time. They're quick, professional and friendly. Always have compliments on their handiwork too!

I have been getting my hair cut and dyed by Belinda for six years, and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The vibe at The Painted Lady is fun and chilled, and not at all pretentious like other Shoreditch salons. I recently started getting my mini manicures to by Tina, which are very affordable (£16) and by far the neatest I have ever had! No one rushes in this salon, you will just get the best possible service from very skilled staff.

i have been getting my nails done by Tina here for the last 9 months and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. The service is really friendly and the treatments are top quality. I have shellac manicures and pedicures which never seem to chip and loyalty is rewarded with a free treatment when you've had 5. i recently got married and Tina came out of hours to my hotel the night before to do the nails of myself and my bridesmaids the night before the wedding. i highly recommend it.

I have become completely addicted to the Shellac manicures here. The paint job is always total perfection and lasts for weeks - the only reason I have to go back is because my nails outgrow the paint rather than because they are chipped. And if they do get chipped the lovely Tina offers to repaint for the first two weeks after your appointment. There's a great laidback atmosphere - if you want a showy, flashy experience this is not the place for you, but if you want to relax and have a cup of tea and a friendly chat during your treatment then I'd say book away.
