Now with ten branches stretching from Catford to Tottenham, this popular supermarket has an excellent range of fresh fruit and veg flown in weekly from Greece, Cyprus and Turkey. Depending on the season, you’ll find okra, prickly pears, swiss chard, herbs and kolngasi (similar to yam or sweet potato), plus olives in huge vats. An in-house bakery churns out baklava, delicious fresh breads and moreish pastries. There are fresh meats and poultry, savouries and sweets and an enormous range of spices, pulses, nuts, along with apple tea, Turkish delight, and a host of other traditional products, including a selection of rosewater and colognes.
