A superb place to visit when you’re in need of visual inspiration, VV Rouleaux, opened by florist Annabel Lewis some two decades ago, is an enduring favourite with interior designers, fashion stylists and wedding planners. It’s best known for its huge variety of vibrantly coloured ribbons (now also sold in John Lewis), braids, trimmings, feathers, butterflies and colourful corsages. Downstairs you’ll find furnishing trimmings, including ties, tassles and fringing, as well as jewellery, vintage bridal headdresses, veils and flowers. The shop is a good bet for stylish Christmas fabrics, ribbons and wreaths, and staff are happy to offer decorating tips and ideas.

One of the very best specialist shops in London . All things trimmings, ribbons, embellishments can be found here if you’re making something super precious there is no better shop to visit.

It can get expensive so ask the price of everything before they cut a length and take you’re time in there- very easy to pile up a million things you love but don’t need!

Staff can be a bit hard to crack if you’re buying small amounts but pull the Pretty Woman sass and they’ll be bending over backwards to help in no time, whats a specialist shop without a bit of London sales assistant attitude anyway eh!

A shop full of wonders, this is the ultimate haberdashers! The helpful and talented staff offer workshops and the window displays are sure to inspire.

Do you like ribbons? You will LOVE ribbons after this shop. Last weekend I needed a little gold ribbon for a dress, not tooooo shiny, not too thin...anyway a lovely lady in the haberdashery dept at John Lewis told me about this little ribbon shop in Marylebone. Little ribbon shop is a flipping understatement - it is epic. It's stacked the rafters with beautiful ribbons of every shape, fabric, pattern and thickness imaginable. It is a veritable palace of ribbon discovery. You'll want to buy them all, for no reason other than to look at them and amaze your friends! An exceedingly good experience.
