Windle & Moodie

I had an excellent experience at Windle & Moodie with Jamie (colourist) and Simon (haircut). I went to Windle & Moodie to correct a series of bad haircuts and colour treatments I've had at other salons. This was my first visit there and so I was a bit nervous that, like my other salon experiences recently, I wouldn't get what I wanted. Both Jamie and Simon assuaged my concerns immediately though as they were attentive and knowledgable. Not only talented, they also made sure to explain each step so I knew how they were going to correct my damaged hair. I am very happy to have found them and highly recommend them both.

Really good! Absolutely 5 star. Hairdresser seemed young but had an really good sense of what I was trying to do and what needed to be done! The experience of having your hair washed in state-of-the-art room specially designated for that, was quite an incredible experience. Needs to be tried for that alone. Really impressed, and I have been going to hairdressers in London for 30 years. Also, very reasonable prices I thought. (I used to go to Charles Worthington until their prices got totally ridiculous)

This has been the best experience in a hair salon ever!!! Sergio was amazingly attentive and my hair has honestly never looked better! I also coloured my hair, which had been left quite frail after years of dyeing it myself, and I have to say Jamie got it spot on!!! Definitely try this salon, it will be worth it!!

Went to the salon after being reccomended by a friend and saw Jack. Was looking for a new style but wasnt sure what i wanted. Jack suggested a colour that would compliment my skin tone better as i felt the colour i had was a bit dull. Jack also did the cut and was very sensative to the fact i dont like having my hair cut and havnt been to the salon in over 6 months for a cut. The result was FANTASTIC and te girl that did the massage was amazing, If you want to try something new i would recommend Jack at windle and moodie to anyone. I have already been stopped and asked about my hair in the street Thank you guys i will defo be back

As a treat my husband booked me a haircut and colour at Windle and Moodie. I knew I wanted change and I'm very glad I went for it. I went from long dull post pregnancy hair to short and brightened colour. It's definitely given me a make-over feeling and feels absolutely great. In addition to that the whole experience was fantastic, the shampoo dark room and the personal touch when blow drying and finishing your hair to your personal request. Since then people have commented on how great it looks, how well it suits my face and my husband loves it. As for style maintenance it's minimal, that's one of the things I love about it, quick and easy and looks great. I'm very glad I went there! I had a fantastic experience and have the haircut to show and prove it, I'll definitely be re-visiting on my next trip to London.

I have been visiting London for extended periods over the last 2 or so years. At times I am in dire need of a touchup to my roots so I decided to try this salon. I made the appointment online and got a response the next day. Reception suggested a senior colorist per my request, and a stylist based on my appointment time. Takashi, my colorist, paid painstaking attention to understanding the state of my hair and what to do with it. He explained the ins and outs of temporary and permanent color and an appropriate shade for my skin. After shampoo he checked it several times. Very professional and competent! Bon was my stylist. He also took time to learn what it was I wanted to do and gave me alot of information regarding the cuts and how they would grow out. He did a great job on dusting and cleaning my cut and thinned it out as well. Sadly he leaves the salon shortly. They were both very competent and instilled alot of confidence in me. (I have been known to jump up mid-cut and leave if I felt the stylist was too junior.) I will go again and hope they are both still there next time. For visitors from the US, try this place!!!!!

Paul Windle is the best hairdresser on the planet. Superb cut every time. He is simply a genius! Fab salon too.
