Chucking away old clothes isn't very chic. Find out how fashion can become more sustainable at this festival in historic garment manufacturing hub Spitalfields. There'll be a pop-up shop at 30a Spital Square where you can browse rails of carefully-curated secondhand treasures, as well well as attend a host of fun-sounding workshops that'll teach you to mend your jeans, knit a bag out of old t-shirts, or even create biomaterials.
The line-up includes a fashion performance showcase, where dancers from Alexander Whitley Dance Company will showcase designs in motion. There are also talks, workshops and roundtables for fashion designers current and aspiring to discover the ideas that are changing the industry for the better. Reserve your spot in advance to get in on the act.
