  • Don't bother - take your money elsewhere. 1 booked 3 treatments here a couple of weeks ago to treat myself to a 'spa experience'. It's a backstreet place in Bethnal Green, masquerading as a 'spa'. It's really not. Reality is that the place is set within an old run-down leisure centre and they revamped the spa area to bring in money. But the service is what didn't improve. The prices are high so you'd think the results would match. but no. A pedicure I had done looked like it was done by a 5year old. Nail varnish wasn't painted on the actual nails and the finished job was sloppy. I paid a lot of money - spent half a day there and at the endm, they even had the cheeck to start selling me the products they'd been talking about the whole time. They're motto seems tobe sell sell sell. Waste of my money - should have gone elsewhere. I feel robbed. Another thing is that they make you pay for your treatments at the start when you book online, so when you get there and the results are bad, you can't complain. It's a shambles. I would advise anyone looking for treatments to seek an alternate venue which is either cheaper, or the same price and gives you a more better service. More professonial results for the money paid, and less of a 'hard sell' of Elemis products at the end of the therapy. Customers do not need this. It's pressurising. I didn't come to listen to 15/20mins of talk on why I should buy Elmis products. My nails did not look professional manicured (and I paid a whooping £32 for this 'restorative manicure). not great. Won't be returning.

  • I just went to a friend's birthday do there and in spite of the fact it says on the website they have students and concessions until 4.30pm I was not allowed in at the £9 rate because I was past 1.30pm. I had phoned the centre 3 times in the morning but their phone was busy and they didn't pick up. In spite of the fact it was a birthday the receptionist was obdurate and ruined a lovely event.
