If you fancy a skating day trip by the sea, George IV's bonkers Brighton pleasure palace makes for an exotic backdrop to an 800-square-metre rink, which has space for 250 skaters. New this year is the Jamie Oliver's Fabulous Feasts pop-up rinkside restaurant and bar (open 10am-12.30am) serving everything from mid-morning snacks to dinner. The rink can get very busy so advance booking is recommended.
