Set in a former church, this stunning women-only gym is well equipped with a pool, sauna, steam room and a gym spread out over three floors. Cardiovascular equipment and resistance machines are tucked in under the roof's arches and a large studio space in the centre offering everything from zumba and capoeira to spinning classes. The club also has a small lounge area-cum-café at reception, crèche and children's activities, and two treatment rooms offering beauty maintenance and complementary therapies. The attentive and friendly staff will devise a specific training programme for each new member.

I have been to this gym for some time and since starting quiet a few of the lessons have been taken off the time table. I really enjoyed a particular spin class which was once a week and was extremely popular with members however, this too has been taken off the programme to save money. The classes ran by the gym instructors are not as good. It is a gym that is very accessible and i think that probably is its main selling point. The equipment in the gym itself is extremely old but i think they are making some improvements in this area
Things have changed dramatically since Time Out Reviewed Sunstone. The facilities are somewhat dated especially considering the high membership fees (over £55 per month). I find the staff rather unhelpful and somewhat intimidating. Classes are nice if you book in advance, but the gym facilities are really poor. Changing rooms are on the top floor and swimming pool in the basement and a very ugly stairway to get to both. Shower facilities could do with updating and regular cleaning. Smells like pee most of the time.
