Various Greenwich Venues, London Friday June 26 2015 - Sunday July 5 2015 Free

If you're looking for free outdoor fun for all this summer, you'd do well to head down to Greenwich. The borough hosts the annual Greenwich and Docklands International Festival 2015 (GDIF) which brings together a brilliantly diverse line up of companies from all over the world. Over 10 days there are events outdoor and inside at venues  scattered all around Greenwich and Docklands, including the Old Royal Naval College and Cutty Sark Gardens. But this year the show's venture further afield, to places such as Severndroog Castle and Bethnal Green Gardens. This year's highlight is without doubt the rather exciting 'The Four Fridas', an outdoor extravaganza that celebrates the live and work of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (Royal Artillery Barracks. Jul 1-4). 'Dancing City' is a perennial favourite, as it brings together bite-sized dancing al-fresco delights all over Canary Wharf (Various venues 29 Jun - Jul 4). Plus don't miss 'Kori Kori' (Cutty Sark Gardens. Jun 26) a UK premiere of one of France's leading outdoor theatre companies, where 18 actors and musicians go on a journey through Greenwich.
