Oliver Jeffers's children's book about a boy who flies to outer space seems to be the book of the moment to adapt: following this play version, there's also an opera version directed by Katie Mitchell running at the Young Vic. This one, though, is not an opera. It's a silent Danish-Irish venture between Teater Refleksion and Branar Teatar do Phaisti which uses puppets, original music and distinctive design to tell the story. Ages 3-4.
