The Butterfly Lion

Another of former children's laureate Michael Morpurgo's books that has been adapted for stage. The 'War Horse' writer's story travels from Africa to the battlefields of World War One in France following the young boy Bertie, who vows he will see the orphaned white lion he rescued again after they are forced to part.
