With the comendable intention of making children's theatre accessible and local, the new theatre company Ga Ga Theatre return their show to cinemas in London. Adapted from the book by Oliver Jeffers, the play follows the story of a penguin who dreams of flying and the boy who helps. The show also features illustrations from the book.

A perfect balance of theatre and film, and I think I enjoyed it as much as the kids! The cinematography and music were stunning, and the actors brought it to life beautifully. My kids are already asking to see it again.
Enchantingly done, and my kids were spellbound. It's such a treat to see such high quality live theatre in my local Picturehouse.
My two boys (2 and 4 years old) were gripped throughout - I loved the combination of live theatre with animations - really beautiful, the music was very feelgood and there was great chemistry on stage.
Our daughter 2 seemed to enjoy it, our son 5 told us it was a shame they didn't follow the story of the book (they sort of did in a confusing way). We thought it was an ok show that is likely to get better with practice. Good music and great visuals. A bit short (1/2h) and slow to start as well as a bit rushed towards the end...
