It’s been 950 years since King Harold got an arrow in the eye at the Battle of Hastings. A group of re-enactors will set up camp near Apsley House to show us their weapons, games and living arrangements. Drop in to try out their camp kitchen, taste Saxon food, do a bit of smithing or weave some willow. Oh, and the battle will be recreated using vegetables.
