My friend and I were looking to do something a bit different on a Sunday morning. We came across Bowl of Chalk, booked ourselves into a walk around Shoreditch/Spitalfields and as soon as we met Johnny the tour guide we knew we were going to have a great time. London is bursting full of history, culture and life and it's an absolute pleasure to be guided through it by someone who obviously cares about the city and is a fountain of knowledge. Informality, friendliness and authenticity are the style of this walk. It was absolutely brilliant and we can't wait for the next one.

From our first email exchange with Jonnie, it was obvious that we would be experiencing something quite special on his walking tour. Personable, knowledgable, charming, witty, and thoroughly engaging, Jonnie was a wonderful host to show us around his "neck of the woods", a side of London that we had not seen before. He entertained us with anecdotes and illustrated his stories with the incredible street art and other works found around his haunt. With the "pay what you like" nature of the tour, it is a slam dunk. Don't be surprised if you find yourself feeling very generous at the end of this tour. It was a complete joy from start to finish!!!
