Offering a more affordable floral tribute than its neighbour, the venerable Chelsea Flower Show, this colourful festival sees 37 Chelsea retailers compete to make the most beautiful flowery display in their store windows and on shop fronts. Pick up a trail map or just hitch a free rickshaw ride from Sloane Square to see the lot, before settling in the pop-up gin bar.

Let's cut to the flower chase! Head to Duke of York square for Liz Earle's stand out CarnivEarle (theme is Carnival this year - geddit?) then there's pleasing displays in Monica Vinader and Joseph. Pop to Hackett, Smythson, Sarah Chapman before going up Kings Road via Links of London and finish with the Ivy Garden's flower wall. You'll need a glass of wine after that! In complete honesty, I've seen more impressive years but it's a expensive project and I can see why retailers might opt out of doing it. Great displays from those who have taken part!
