Built in 1937, Earls Court is a building with a certain retro flair: its architect also designed 1920s movie palaces. Usually associated with trade shows and concerts (this is where Pink Floyd built The Wall), the concrete Exhibition Centre has a strong Olympic past. It hosted the Boxing, Gymnastics, Weightlifting and Wrestling for the 1948 Games and played host to the Volleyball tournament during the London 2012 Games.
