Time Out says

Christmas comes early for all food fanatics this year in east London. The Foodies Festival returns with another Chrimbo special, which promises three days of festive culinary fun including live cooking demonstrations, drinks master classes, a Champagne Ski Bar and a Pudding Hall selling mulled wine, eggnog, cakes, pies and bonbons galore. Great British Bake Off champion Nadiya Jamir Hussain will be creating her favourite festive bakes giving tips on how to recreate the treats at home. Other highlights include a Gin Theatre and artisan market packed with cheese, chutney, jams and biscuits from over 150 hand-picked vendors. Special guests for 2015 include Michelin Star & Great British Menu Winner 2014, Adam Simmonds, plus Adam Handling of Caxton, Kim Woodward of Savoy Grill, David Degiovanni of Union Street Cafe and MasterChef Winner 2010, Dhruv Baker. Once you've eaten and drunk your fill, enjoy live music from local choirs, take part in the Christmas Bumper Quiz, get snapped in the photo booth or see if you can stomach some serious heat in the Chilly-Eating Competition. An Elf Cookery School is available for children under 12.
