You know what they (don't) say – people who spade together, stay together. This mass tree planting day organised by independent charity Trees for Cities encourages couples (and families) to help plant a new edible urban woodland in Ealing. As well as that huge endorphin rush of doing something good together you can then personalise a heart-shaped planter with your names or a romantic message. Training and equipment will be provided and there'll be live music and refreshments on-site. The event is free, but donations are welcome and attendees are encouraged to register in advance on the Team London website.
