Time Out says

Brace yourselves: the arrival of the man in red as part of the annual Harrods’ Christmas Parade is incontrovertible evidence that the festive fandango is heating up. The pre-parade begins at 8am (the best views are from Basil Street), and the procession then moves along Brompton Road, with Santa due to enter the store at 8.50am to officially open the Christmas Grotto at 9am. As well as Father Christmas, there will be real-life reindeer along with dancers, performers and a few children’s favourites – SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Wallace and Gromit, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – and Henry the electric Harrods van. Look out for Mrs Christmas too, as she’ll be inviting a few lucky little ’uns to join in during the Christmas Magic Dance with special reindeer antlers.
