An immersive celebration of the cult beat writer William S Burroughs’s 100th birthday. The event, which will take place in a secret location, will be part promenade theatre, part performance art and will feature a Burroughs-inspired, sprawling 360-degree city. Expect a marketplace based on his 'Interzone' stories, magical and alien creatures, crews of Wild Boys, decadent artists, gun-runners, government agents, criminals, drug smugglers and tax-evading tycoons. The suggested dress code is 'indecent citizen' – think deviants, corrupt officials, beatniks, cannibals, Egyptian gods, drag kings and time travellers. Passports (tickets) must be booked in advance.
