How do you get nearly 2,000 steam trains, planes, boats, tanks and trucks up the biggest hill in north London? Shrink them. All manner of models will be on display at this twentieth edition of The London Model Engineering Show, and more than 50 international clubs and societies will be competing to win this year's Society Shield. The event will celebrate the fiftieth anniversaries of 'Star Trek's first episode and the moon landing of Luna 9, so if you have and space- or flight-themed models this is your chance to show them off. Industry suppliers and experts will be showcasing new products and giving advice to hobbyists of all abilities. Book in advance for discounted tickets.
