The LTM runs late night Friday events only a few times a year with a particular theme. Although there is a charge of about £8 involved I think these are some of the most fun late museum nights on offer throughout the capital. Expect full access to the museum, learn about the history of London transport and take photos of you driving a red routemaster bus, endless fun! When we went there were plenty of talks and tours and even balloon making, games, interactive creative making sessions and face painting on offer.Expect a relaxed atmosphere in a museum setting with DJs and cocktails on offer. There is even a scavenger hunt if you feel up to it.

Everyone that reads Timeout has a different relationship with London. And the tube. But whatever differences you have with it, put them aside for an evening and at TFL lates, you’ll really get to know our good ole’ mate LANNNDANNNNN that little bit better.

From the history of the transport network, to meeting the female voice behind every bus route of the capital and actually driving one of those big red things, there really is so much to learn, see and do here.

Team that with alcohol, a London pub quiz and a balloon animal man, you’ll be sure to laugh, appreciate and make piece with the one that makes you question whether your career is worth it every rush hour.
