For this east London sibling of Midcentury Modern – a showcase event for 60 vintage furniture dealers, featuring classics of British, American and Scandinavian 20th-century design – even the building is a sight to see: it is held in Haggerston School, which was designed by Brutalist architect Erno Goldfinger (2 Willow Road, Trellick Tower) in the mid-’60s. Expect to see a similar variety of hugely desirable, high-quality furniture on display, all of which can be bought straight from the dealers. There's also appropriately themed entertainment and food.

I adore all these shows and now another carefully chosen venue to enjoy - Sunday is destination Midcentury Modern, Haggerston School
Looking forward to overdosing on midcentury design at The Midcentury Modern Show at Haggerston on Sunday. There's nothing else close to it in this country. Shopping heaven!
Oooh brand new show over East from those clever Midcentury Modern people. Can't wait to clap my eyes on all that vintage boooty. Forget the 1% interest earned on savings. This is my kind of investment!
