I wanted to do this as I am a big fan of the National Theatre, and wanted to learn about it's history. I loved the concept of a 'treasure hunt' where you have to find stations around the theatre, listen to a short or long commentary about a certain era, answer a question relevant to what you just listened to and then find the next station. Once you have all the answers to the questions, it gives you a code to the National Theatre Vault, which is full of theatre fan treasues. I definitelty recommend for a fun, short afternoon indoor activity.

It would appear that the National Theatre is hiding something. Quite what secrets it has up its sleeve, no one knows – the only way to find out is to take part in this month-long series of treasure hunts. It's an interactive adventure created by arts company metro-boulot-dodo, that will not only help to unravel the history of this beautiful modernist building, but will yield further treasures in the secret vault for those canny enough solve all the clues.
