Primrose Hill hosts a dog festival to highlight the practice of puppy farming in the UK, and the awful conditions it often involves. On the day there will be a dog show with categories including Best Rescue and Waggiest Tail, various canine displays such Have-a-Go-Agility, a boutique doggy shopping village, a family barbecue, the chance to see Crufts Best in Show winner Jilly, as well as free microchipping. Registration starts at 10am, with dog shows throughout the day from 11am.
The event aims to raise awareness of the correct ways to choose a dog, which are to adopt one from a rescue centre or from a responsible source such as the Kennel Club where you will be able to see mum interacting with her pups.
