Ruth Proctor: Still Not Fixed

Time Out says

Before she turned to art, Ruth Procter was a champion ice skater. This goes some way to explaining the element of performance that is usually present in her work, and almost entirely explains how she ended up making the floor of this new Finsbury Park exhibition space into a synthetic ice rink. Visitors must skate across the floor to view the works on display, and will be constantly watched over by an audience of cartoon eyes in the gallery's windows. Half hour time slots must be booked at least an hour in advance.
