The very simplistic fun that is hurtling down a piece of wet plastic on your belly needn't be a thing of the past with the help of Slide the City, who'll be setting up a 100m water slide in Wembley Park. Standard tickets cost £15 and allow two slides plus two inflatable tube rentals, though you may bring your own if you prefer. Music and food stalls will keep spectators amused, though not as amused as the sight of sliders falling off their inflatables. Riders must be at least five years old and/or 116cm tall. Booking recommended.
