I recently attended an event at The Crystal, and got to see the exhibition inside. A stone's throw from Royal Victoria DLR station, it was really conveniently located. With such a beautiful location - it was situated on the riverside overlooking the Thames, the Emirates Airline cable cars with London Excel in the distance. I had no idea we had one of the world's most sustainable buildings right here on our doorstep. The exhibition was cleverly aimed at all ages, and covered a range of topics such as sustainability, healthcare, water, electricity, fire, future smart cities, clever technology and so much more. The different displays were all different from videos to interactive bike powered displays to exhibits you could access with your special key card. It was really enjoyable and my favourite was a video of how different cities could look like in the future with advanced sustainable technology.

I would definitely go back, and I think it's a great exhibition for children and adults alike!

“I’ve always wanted to visit Salzburg during the Festival. Thanks for bringing it to London!”

Great summer in the Docklands! The Great London Swim, the Beach and now Siemens Festival Nights. Royal Victoria Dock sounds like the place to be this summer!

I can’t wait to take my little princess to The Magic Flute on Sunday!

I've booked up for Don Carlo - my Mum and Dad are very excited about it - can't wait and should be a relaxing way to calm down after the Great London Swim! Newham really is a happening place :-)

Great opportunity to attend some of the greatest operatic pieces from Verdi and Mozart, right from the famous Salzburg Festival. The unusual open air settlement will encourage art lovers as well as new audience to enjoy opera at its finest. What is worth mentioning is that the registration fee (£5) is returned to visitors at the door as a voucher to be spent at the bar/cafe! Family friendly environment, full of fun activities. Picnics are more than welcome. Enjoy!
