Really amazing and lovely and a great and affordable night out. In between plays you can take in the scenery of the Thames and London lights with the tower bridge backdrop... Amazing!
J'adore! what a romantic place to watch all sorts of genre of theatre between those two prestigious bridges Tower Bridge and London Bridge. The perfect place to bring your date, first walk on Queen's Walk from London Bridge then stop for a good value dinner at La Cote. For an easy digestion, bring your date to the Scoop to watch a short play, the best way to relax and to enjoy a romantic evening under the stars and the Tower Bridge light before ending your night in the arms of your beloved.
Great place for free theatre and music events in the summer in glorious iconic surroundings. I've seen bands, opera, greek tragedy, farce, kids performances, weird performance art, community choirs, there really is a diverse range of events on offer, for which you can check the schedule on their website. Bring a rug, pop down the road to the local supermarkets to stock up on dinner or snack food and a drink and the drop in and grab a slab, you're in for a treat!
Great open space, great views, mixture of locals and tourists. Cultural and educational and FUN. Aaaand free :)
The Scoop is the best place to relax and listen to music in an oudoors riverside setting on a warm Summer evening in London.
I love the architecture and design of the scoop. What A perfect name!! It just scoops into the floor Of the embankment of tower bridge and gives You a feeling of falling into the earths centre.
I watched a play about the Greek mythology. It was really good. The weather was good too, which makes the outdoor theatre really interesting. I will recommend to make a night of it being cushions, blanket (in case u get cold) n a picnic!
