This festival of cold water swimming sees some very bold swimmers brace themselves for races in the almost literally freezing (as low as 1°C) waters of Tooting Bec Lido. If your strokes aren't up to the head-up breastroke race or a team relay then try the individual freestyle dash instead, or even just a group jump-in in aid of Frank Water and International Inspiration, the Big Splash. A Finnish sauna and hot tubs will be on hand to get rid of all the goosebumps and the Budgie Smuggler's Arms will serve hot toddies. The best hat will win some brilliant prizes and food stalls and poolside activities will keep spectators entertained between races.
