In honour of MAMMA MIA! showing at the Novello Theatre – a convenient three-minute walk away – Strand Palace is bringing a whole new experience to the fans. Now in its 26th year since its debut on the West End, MAMMA MIA! is well worth cheersing a glass of bubbly to at a glorious, themed afternoon tea, hosted by Strand Palace. This partnership is set to take place inside its stunning Tea Parlour, adorned in character-inspired artwork and Greek island vibes all round – just like the setting of MAMMA MIA! 

The menu brings the hit musical magic to life with an array of delicious delights that range from the classic afternoon tea bites you’d expect – like traditional fruit scones with clotted cream and raspberry jam – plus a few surprises thrown in for good measure. There’s Donna’s Dynamo Ball, a rich coconut macaroon filled with citrus curd – Sophie’s Dream Lemon Drizzle Gateau, topped with a candyfloss cloud (yes, really) and the oh-so-decadent Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! dark chocolate midnight cake, complete with hazelnut praline. 

As for drinks, the usual tea and bubbles suspects are ever-present, but with a few refreshing cocktails added into the mix. All this and more for just £43 per person (and only £25 for kids). How’s that for making memories?
