A group of Four of us went to the Hampsted comedy club last night and were warmly welcomed by Ivor (promoter and Compare).
The acts were funny and we all really enjoyed ourselves.
Having read the other reviews, we didnt quite know what to expect but our experience was nothing short of a great night out.
The crowd was relaxed, easy going and a wide mix of cultures and ages.
In the break Ivor came and spoke with most of the Audience and was a fantastic host . I felt that I had to offer a testimonial to the comedy club given other two reviews ( these were more directed at the pub- which coincidently we found the staff to be friendly and welcoming)
We would definitely go to Hampstead comedy club again.

Have to agree with the FlipMeister there. A group of 11 of us went in to the Pembroke Castle this weekend hoping to get some food and a few beers - would easily have spent about £200 between us if it wasn't for the unbelievably rude manager of the bar and his staff who were up their own jacksies. We were treated with disdain at trying to pull some tables together, and made to move back chairs which we'd pulled in so we could all enjoy a pub lunch together. The kitchen also miraculously closed for an hour 10mins after we arrived, forcing us to drink up an leave. It seems, if you are not Jude Law or one of the other Primrose Gang you are made to feel about as welcome as an STD. Don't go - unless you're an idiot.

Pembroke Castle has a lovely location and ambience. Unfortunately, our group suffered from extremely rude and unwarrented service from the bar manager. On the basis of this abominable and undeserved treatment, I would not recommend the Pembroke Castle to anyone.
